As is also typical of this company the specs may be slightly exaggerated. With the 0.1mm strip (presumably nickel plated steel) included it welds perfectly using a medium setting (gear). Based on video online I am pretty sure I can using this over 0.12 or 0.15 copper which will give very nice conductivity for the power tool batteries I will be making. I have used solder in the past, but this will speed assembly considerably and avoid any risk over overheating my cells. Some tips I have picked up online. Use a slow (1 amp) charger. And don’t use it as a power bank. The idea here is treat the battery very carefully so that it will last. Good battery condition (especially low internal resistance) is key to good operation. For my application I may need to use flux, we shall see. FAST! 7 days to the USA.
